Make your transition to San Juan College seamless with New Student Orientation (NSO). Whether you choose online or in-person, NSO gives you the tools and information you need to start your college journey with confidence. You’ll also get a campus tour to learn about key centers and departments that will support you every step of the way.

Our Resource Coaches are here to help you access the support you need. Whether it’s food, housing, childcare, or other essentials, we’ll guide you to the right resources and referrals. Here’s how we can help:

  • Food assistance
  • Housing information
  • Clothing referrals
  • Childcare resources
  • Utility assistance information
  • Textbook assistance
  • Hygiene items
  • Laptops and hotspots
  • Bus passes and public transportation information
  • College success skills like study tips, time management, and more

Some services may have qualification requirements.

Resource Coaches are available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. No appointment is needed—just stop by Room 1612 in the Student Center!

Food for Thought Program

The Food for Thought Program at San Juan College is here to support you with access to free food, meal vouchers, and other resources to help you succeed. Whether you need a quick meal or long-term assistance, we’re here to ensure you can focus on your education without worry.
